Bodhran workshops are a great way to team build, entertain your guests at a party or for your visiting tour group. We travel nationwide, so get in touch with us for our competitive rates.

We work with groups of 5-10 people at a time, teaching the basics of the Irish drum, or bodhrán (pronounced “bough” as in cow, “rawn” as in lawn). Our workshops include a performance and an opportunity for you to play along with some musicians on the day.

We start with a performance and explanation of the different rhythms in Traditional Irish Music. Often bodhrán players use a cipín (little stick), but some use their hand only.

We provide your group with enough bodhrans to make quite a bit of noise and we will play along with you. The photo opportunities and Instagram-worthy images will have your team snapping away happily and sharing your event on their Social Media
